Information we collect

Meal photos and scan data

When you choose or take a meal photo, SavorShift may process the image on your device and send a prepared image to our service so we can recognize visible food, estimate nutrition, and create recipe guidance. Scan results may include food names, estimated calories, macros, recipe options, and related guidance.

Preferences and saved content

If you choose food preferences, avoid items, health focus reminders, saved meal fixes, or saved recipes, we use that information to personalize your in-app guidance.

Usage, diagnostics, and subscription status

We may collect app usage events, device or install identifiers, error logs, performance data, scan quota status, and Apple subscription entitlement information. SavorShift does not require you to create an account for the current app experience.

How we use information

• To provide meal scanning, nutrition estimates, recipe guidance, saved meal fixes, and Pro features.
• To maintain scan quotas, subscriptions, abuse prevention, support, reliability, and security.
• To improve app quality, diagnose failures, and understand which features are useful.

SavorShift provides general nutrition guidance only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Sharing and service providers

We use service providers to run SavorShift, including cloud hosting, storage, AI model providers, app diagnostics, and Apple in-app purchase services. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use meal photos for advertising.

Your choices

• You can choose whether to scan a meal, save meal fixes, or set food preferences.
• You can manage SavorShift Pro subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
• You can contact us to request help accessing, correcting, or deleting information associated with your app use.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the app, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, comply with legal obligations, and support business records. You may request deletion by contacting us.

Children

SavorShift is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will review the request.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
